Wise.Repair LLC provides appliance-repair services and operates the Wise.Repair service platform and restricted Wise.Repair Technician employee application.
Information We Collect
We may collect customer and contact information, including a telephone number provided directly by the customer while booking or scheduling an appliance-repair appointment, email address, service and billing addresses, appliance details, service requests, appointments, quotes and estimates, repair records, invoices and payment status, communications, and consent or opt-out records. We also process security and reliability data such as request identifiers, device or browser information, timestamps, and access logs.
How We Use Information
We use information to respond to service requests, schedule and perform repairs, prepare and deliver quotes, estimates, work orders, invoices, receipts, appointment and status updates, provide support, maintain warranty and accounting records, protect the service, investigate errors, and comply with legal obligations.
Mobile Numbers and SMS Consent
Wise.Repair does not use and will not repurpose telephone numbers collected for appointments or service requests for advertising, promotional campaigns, marketing lists, or bulk messaging. Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message consent records are not transferred to third parties except messaging aggregators, carriers, and service providers acting solely to deliver the customer's requested service messages.
Wise.Repair sends service-related text messages only after the customer gives consent before the first message, normally during a service-booking telephone call with a manager or automated voice agent. At the customer's request, a message may contain a secure link to a Wise.Repair webpage where the customer can review a quote, estimate, work order, invoice, or other service document and, when applicable, approve, decline, or electronically sign it. Other messages may include appointment confirmations or changes, repair updates, payment confirmations, and direct customer-support replies. We do not send advertising or marketing through this program. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or receiving repair service. See the SMS Program for the complete workflow.
Sharing and Service Providers
Information is available to authorized Wise.Repair personnel who need it for service operations. Limited information may be processed by vendors that provide hosting, databases, communications, payment processing, navigation, security, monitoring, and backup services under their own applicable terms and privacy obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect customers, Wise.Repair, or others.
Customer Workspace Update Alerts
After the customer consents to service text messages and receives the initial secure Quote link by SMS, Wise.Repair may send a short transactional SMS when new information becomes available in that Customer Workspace. The alert identifies the type of update and may include the scheduled service date/time or the assigned technician's customer-facing first name and last initial. It asks the customer to open the same secure link and does not repeat the customer's name, address, appliance details, Quote or Invoice amount, or private conversation text. It is not advertising and does not create another item in the Workspace conversation. Reply STOP to stop service texts.
Wise.Repair Technician Application
The employee application processes authenticated employee accounts, assignments, service addresses, appliance complaints, diagnoses, repair notes, visit status, parts activity, selected repair photos, invoice information, cash or check records, and synchronization diagnostics. Camera and photo-library access are requested only when a technician chooses to capture or attach repair evidence. Notifications are optional. The application does not request contacts, SMS, call-log, or microphone access and does not collect raw payment-card or bank-account credentials.
Optional work-shift location: accepting an assigned visit or starting work opens an operational shift automatically. Location sharing requires a separate notice and phone permission. Once enabled, future active work shifts on that phone may resume sharing while permission remains enabled. During the shift, precise location may be sent while the application is visible, in the background, or the screen is locked. Authorized dispatchers can see the latest position, its freshness, and the assigned Case. Location can also provide approximate arrival and departure evidence for an accepted visit. These times do not automatically determine payroll, finish a repair, or charge a customer.
End Shift stops location collection on the device. The latest server position is removed after a confirmed stop, sign-out, access revocation, or shift expiry. A shift expires after 12 hours. Reading the app does not restart it; a new work action or Start Shift can start another shift. We keep only the latest position, not a detailed route history, and exclude these temporary positions from recovery backups. Visit timing and correction history may remain in the service audit record. You can decline or revoke location permission; manual visit controls remain available. Phone settings, connectivity, and operating-system restrictions may delay or prevent background updates.
Separately, On My Way can request one foreground position to estimate arrival through Google Routes. Opening a selected navigation application shares the destination with that navigation provider. Lock Screen and Dynamic Island trip status show the Case number and estimated countdown, without the customer's name or address. The departure estimate is not a live traffic feed from the navigator.
Wise.Repair Customer Application
The customer application uses a one-time phone verification code to connect your account to your authorized repair and payment history. New customers can provide their first name, last name, and optional email. An address is not required to register. You can save appliance type, brand, model and serial number, and update your profile. Changes are recorded in our service system; historical repair records are preserved.
This first private-test version stores a sign-in credential in protected device storage. It does not track location or request contacts, microphone, camera or photo-library access. Signing out revokes that session. Requesting a sign-in code does not subscribe you to marketing. Contact info@wise.repair to request an account correction or deletion; some service, financial and audit records may need to be retained.
Security and Retention
We use encrypted transport, access controls, audit records, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for service history, warranties, accounting, consent and opt-out evidence, security, disputes, and applicable law. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices and Requests
You may ask about access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information. Some business, financial, warranty, fraud-prevention, consent, opt-out, or audit records may have to be retained. To stop service texts, reply STOP. For messaging help, reply HELP or contact us below.
Children and Changes
Wise.Repair services are not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change; the effective date above identifies the current published version.
